Just off Main Avenue, which here is also Highway 2, this vertical control disk is near the western edge of the town of Wilbur.

On the north side of Main Avenue, between Portland and Richmond Streets, is a long parking lot, used mainly by truckers and RVers. At the west end of the parking lot, on its north side, is a power pole, beside which are a pair of orange witness posts. About 4 feet west of the power pole is the vertical control disk, just east of the steel witness post and, we assume, monumented in 1983.

THE STATION IS LOCATED ABOUT 48.3 KM (30.0 MI) NORTH OF ODESSA, 30.6 KM (19.0 MI) SOUTHEAST OF COULEE DAM, 30.6 KM (19.0 MI) WEST-SOUTHWEST OF DAVENPORT AND AT THE WEST EDGE OF THE CITY OF WILBUR.

TO REACH FROM THE JUNCTION OF US HIGHWAY 2 AND STATE ROUTE 21 IN WILBUR, GO WEST ON US HIGHWAY 2 FOR 0.32 KM (0.20 MI) TO A SIDE ROAD RIGHT AND THE STATION ON THE RIGHT.

THE MARK IS SET IN THE TOP OF A ROUND CONCRETE MONUMENT THAT IS FLUSH WITH THE GROUND SURFACE. IT IS 44.5 M (146.0 FT) NORTH OF THE CENTER OF US HIGHWAY 2, 18.3 M (60.0 FT) EAST OF THE CENTER OF THE GRAVELED ROAD, 1.3 M (4.3 FT) SOUTH OF A POWER LINE POLE AND 0.5 M (1.6 FT) NORTH OF A WITNESS POST.
