In a display case over by the windmill and cistern, you will also find a copy of the Guinness World Records certificate from when the chair was unveiled in 2003. Its status as "largest rocking chair" has since been surpassed, but you'll find an additional, complementary board hanging from the front of the rocker, noting it as "World's Largest Cedar Rocker." There's nothing in Guinness to that effect, but there's no reason to disbelieve them.
Besides the furniture store, the Natty Flat Smokehouse is a good place to have lunch, and it's also a general store. There are a few other places to shop here, a good place to get pulled in when you planned on stopping just for a few minutes. The furniture store is open from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Saturday, and on Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. Natty Flat is open a bit later, so there are plenty of opportunities to visit. Please don't hop their fence and risk damaging it when the gates are closed, and while the sign tells you not to climb on the rocking chair, it goes without saying: Don't climb on the rocking chair! There's a smaller one on the grounds where you can sit.
