Pomník padlým v první svetové válce se nachází na severním okraji obce, po pravé strane silnice smerem na Stehelceves. Uprostred malého pietního prostoru je na podstavci umístena mohyla, která na celní strane uvádí jmenný seznam dvaceti padlých vojínu s cástecne dochovanými fotografiemi. Po druhé svetové válce byla na podstavec umístena cerná mramorová deska, která je venována peti obetem nacistické okupace CSR v letech 1939-1945.
Památník byl v roce 2011 renovován s financním prispením Stredoceského kraje (300.000 Kc) a Obecního úradu Dretovice (28.178 Kc).

The World War I Monument is located at the northern edge of the village, on the right side of the road towards Stehelceves village. In the middle of a small fenced area, there is 2.5 meter high monument, with a list of twenty fallen soldiers with partially preserved photographs. After World War II, a black marble table was placed on the pedestal, which was dedicated to five victims of the Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1939-1945.
The monument was renovated in 2011 with the financial contribution of the Central Bohemia region (CZK 300,000) and the Municipal office of Dretovice (CZK 28,178).
