Addington is a small town of just over a hundred people, while the cemetery, dating into the very late 19th century, is still active, with over 800 burials.

The tabernacle is supported by twelve concrete posts, with a metal roof -- probably a replacement -- and wood for the rest. For its age, it is in excellent condition, and the "cornerstone" is on the post on the west end of the tabernacle, on the north side of the driveway. One can actually drive right up to and through the tabernacle, which is a good place to park to keep your vehicle cool in the hundred degree heat.
