EN: This insect hotel is located on a path that leads along the Rudolf Steiner School in Pratteln. The structure is about two to two meters in size and has many small sections behind a protective grid and a wide cantilevered canopy.
There is no inscription, but one can assume that it is the product of a student project work, like so many other insect hotels near schools.
The school is housed in a former Baroque country estate from the 1720s on a hill southwest of Pratteln. The insect hotel is at the back of a modern outbuilding, maybe a gym.
DE: Dieses Insektenhotel steht an einem Weg, der entlang der Rudolf-Steiner-Schule in Pratteln führt. Das Gebilde ist rund zwei auf zwei Meter gross und hat viele kleine Abteilungen hinter einem Schutzgitter und ein weit ausladendes Vordach.
Es gibt keine Beschriftungen, aber man kann wohl annehmen, dass es im Rahmen einer Schüler-Projektarbeit entstanden ist, wie so viele anderen Insektenhotels in der Nähe von Schulen.
Die Schule befindet sich in einem ehemaligen barocken Landsitz aus den 1720er Jahren an einem Hügel südwestlich von Pratteln. Das Insektenhotel steht allerdings an der Rückseite von einem modernen Nebengebäude, vielleicht einer Turnhalle.
