This Bench can be found in the Mooragh Park on the eastern side of the Boating Lake. It is the fourth dedicated bench on this side of the lake when travelling north.
The wooden bench has a slatted seat and back rest featuring and two arm rests.
The rectangular plaque on the backrest of this bench is inscribed as follows:
‘THIS BENCH IS IN MEMORY OF
ALAN JAMES CHINERY (1921-2012)
WHO ENJOYED THE PEACEFUL VIEW OF RAMSEY AND SURROUNDING HILLS’
The bench is positioned facing the Boating Lake in the Mooragh Park and is the ideal spot to rest and watch the various boats on the Lake and looking down the lake toward the town centre and the hill which surround the town.
