Mt. View Cemetery Road runs west from 12th Street at the south end of Davenport, 2.5 miles later joining Highway 2. Monumented in 1950, the station is set in a small trench in the earth, surrounded by heavy growth. It's made a bit easier to find by the white sign on a relatively short steel witness post with a bit of a lean to it. Nearby were once three reference marks, only two of which, RM 2 and RM 3, still exist. RM 1 was removed in 1965. Apparently, the Azimuth Mark is gone now, too.
