A railroad track parallels the highway here and the benchmark is slightly nearer the tracks than the highway. Its steel witness post is bent over nearly horizontal but is still quite noticeable from the highway. Monumented in 1934, it is set in a small rock outcrop partially surrounded by loose rocks of the same composition.
