The Duncan Waterworks building is a one-story brick building with a flat roof. Stone coping is stepped with a small pediment on the south side. Each side of the building has three indented brick sections which have a fixed pane window or door in them. A couple of the windows have been bricked in. A stone belt course runs along the west and south sides on the upper wall.
The main entrance facing west has been remodeled and consists of a glass door flanked by sidelights and a transom. Three small flat canopies are over the door and windows on this elevation. Above the metal door on the south side, a concrete panel is engraved with the year and use of the building. The building is currently occupied as an Edward Jones office.
