Cypress Fountain is located in the center of a teardrop shaped pond in Albany Rural Cemetery. A cone of water sprays up from a circular nozzle in the center of the pond. Nearby is the taller but inactive Werzinger fountainhead and nozzle. A plaque on the west shore of the pond is inscribed:
