This school campus in Schulter was constructed by the WPA in 1937. Off the southeast corner of the Home Economics building is a small gazebo which is used to display a school bell.

The gazebo is 6-sided, with one opening. The wood roof is supported by wood poles, and covered with composition shingles. Around the gazebo on five sides is a low wall made of rough stones concreted together. There is no seating here. Inside the gazebo is a metal frame which supports a silver-painted bell, which we believe is the school bell which rung at an earlier schoolhouse. This gazebo was very likely built in 1937 during the construction of this replacement school.
