This Bench can be found in the Mooragh Park on the western side of the Boating Lake. It is more northerly of a pair of benches close to the Water Play Area.
The wooden bench has a slatted seat and back rest featuring and two arm rests.
The rectangular plaque on the backrest of this bench is inscribed as follows:
‘IN MEMORY OF JOAN & BEN RIDGE
WHO LOVED THIS PARK
“REST A WHILE, ENJOY THE VIEWS
BE AT PEACE”'
The bench is positioned close to the Water Play Area and faces towards the Boating Lake in the Mooragh Park and is the ideal spot to rest and watch the activity in the Park.
