Popular local situated just off main A38. The front bar incorporates a pool room with a larger lounge/restaurant to the rear which extends into a sunny conservatory. The food menu consists of good quality and excellent value traditional English fare, and the beer menu normally includes up to three ales.
The pub is close to the start of the three Royal Hunters' Walks around the local villages of Bournheath and Dodford.
