The grave of General James Clay Rice is marked by a small granite marker inscribed J.C.R. and a 20' granite obelisk with inscriptions on three sides of the base. The shaft of the obelisk is inscribed OUR COUNTRY and below is the initial R. The bottom of the monument is inscribed:GEN RICE.
