3.85 megawatt (MW) AC community solar farm operated by MC Power for Independence Power and Light (IPL). IPL customers can sign up to purchase power from this system. The website (see below) has information about subscribing to the service as well as a link that shows the sites current and historic generation.
It has been in operation since Dec. 1, 2016. As of the time I am writing this description on June 16, 2016, it has generated 6.92 gigawatt-hours of electricity. My understanding is that the system could be expanded to 7 MWs with the area available.
We were not able to see the front of the panels since the road is on the north side of the solar farm and the panels face south.
