Sezima Jan z Vrtby (1578 – 6. brezna 1648) byl ceský šlechtic, zakladatel hrabecí linie Vrtbu (visit link) .

Byl synem Jana Prostiborského z Vrtby a Magdaleny z Rícan. Oženil se trikrát: s Dorotkou z Rícan, Juditou Španovskou z Lisova a Barbarou Eusebia Moritorovou z Martinic. Mel s nimi nekolik synu a dcer. Za vernost císari Ferdinandu II. byl roku 1624 povýšen do hrabecího stavu.

Další úrady, které zastával, byly: královský hofmistr, nejvyšší zemský sudí, nejvyšší zemský komorník. Nákupem konfiskovaných statku pripojil k Vrtbe a Cervenému Hrádku Kosovu Horu s Vojkovem, Vrchotovy Janovice, Krešice, Beztahov, Votice, Krimice a Nezašov.
