Officially called the 'Church of St John the Evangelist', the parish was founded in 1849. With this Church opened in April 1858, and the Transepts and Spire added in 1871 from the design of Edmund Blacket. [ex-Wikipedia: (

The Church has three Services on Sundays: 9.30am for a Family Friendly experience; 11am for Communion and liturgy, and 6pm for a Contemporary Service. (
