Unfortunately the signage on Darlinghurst Road is almost non-existent, and only A2 signs show it has being the St Johns Church. Maybe where it backs onto Victoria Street has more prominent signage.
There are three Sunday Services, to try and fit into your weekend, with:
* 9.30am Family Friendly Service: a Children's program is run parallel.
* 11am Communion Service: Anglican liturgy, Hymns with historic organ.
* 6pm Contemporary Service: Praise, Worship, and Prayer; Coffee.
There are many Mid-week groups, so contact Ed if you are available
There is a Prayer Group on Thursday mornings: 0700 - 0745.
There are also Community based groups, with the Rough Edges Cafe being on Victoria Street: open Wednesday and Friday between 11am and 2pm. 'Urban Exposure' has students from year 9 to 12 finding out about life on the Sydney city streets. Legal Advice can also be gained, by contacting the Office, who will book an appointment.
Looking into the immediate future, they are preparing and building HammondCare, to provide an aged facility for homeless people with high care needs, on a site next to the Church.
