At the house in the Burgstraße 21 you will find a sign which describe the history of the building, it says:

Kupferhof Schleicher

Gleichzeitig erfuhr
Schleicher in Stolberg religiöse Toleranz.

wenig einladenden Eindruck.
Das heutige Erscheinungsbild erhielt das Haus durch Umbauten 1750;

of the Reformed Church.

The times were uncertain at that time; therefore this copper yard was used as a defence-
around a'closed inner courtyard and offered from the outside a
an uninviting impression.
The present appearance of the house was achieved by reconstructions in 1750;

the windows have been considerably enlarged; windows and door openings, which are equipped with
the light blue stone that is typical of the landscape, the
Impressive facade.
