This is a well-presented, and maintained Gothic-styled Church, in Mittagong. There was Catholic meetings and Mass held, prior to 1888, elsewhere in Mittagong. [per Tuena]
There is also a stone grotto behind the Church, with a statue of the Divine Mother.
The Dated Foundation Stone is beside a hand-railed ramp to the entry foyer, and painted a green colour, in contrast to the mostly white-painted Church. While it only has the year "1888", the Date is from the "Roman Catholic Church" Waymark by Tuena: (
