Veterans Park - Henryetta, OK - Municipal Parks and Plazas on Waymarking.com

Located next to the Henryetta Public Library, this area is dedicated to Vietnam Veterans. Nestled between two downtown buildings, the park is shaded by a slatted wood shelter, under which are two stone tables and benches. At the back is a 6 ft. brick wall with a plaque dated 1982 designating this as Library Park. On a wood sign placed by NPS - Dept. of Interior, the park is called Veterans Park.

The park contains a time capsule to be opened on October 22, 2022, and a flagpole dedicated to Vietnam veterans in 1985.
