The church was built between 1907 & 1908 by Arthur Bartlett for the Rev W G Whinfield, the the Parish incumbent.
He wrote hymns including "Zion founded on the mountains" and "Glory be to God the Father".
From the Church website :-
The present church in Priory Road, Holy Trinity and St. Mary, was completed in 1908 and features woodwork and plasterwork in the Arts and Crafts style and stonework embellished by the Bromsgrove Guild.
