Pomník se nachází pred Obecním úradem Horomerice, asi 100 metru jiho-východne od místního zámku. Je venován obetem svetové války v letech 1914-1918. Jeho dominantním prvkem je socha slovanské dívky, která má na obou rukách zpretrhané retezy, které pravdepodobne symbolizují rozpad rakousko-uherské monarchie v roce 1918. Ke slavnostnímu znovuodhalení došlo dne 28. ríjna 2013 pri príležitosti státního svátku - Dne vzniku samostatného Ceskoslovenska. Na podstavec zrekonstruovaného a prestehovaného pomníku byly také pridány desky se jmenným seznamem válecných obetí z let 1939-1945.

The monument is located in front of the Horomerice Municipal Authority, about 100 meters south-east of the local castle. It is dedicated to the victims of the World War between 1914-1918. Its dominant element is the statue of a Slavic girl who has broken chains on both hands, which probably symbolize the breakup of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy in 1918. The ceremonial re-opening took place on October 28, 2013, on the occasion of the National Day - the Day of the establishment of an independent Czechoslovakia. On the base of the reconstructed and moved monument were also added plaques with a list of war victims from 1939-1945.
