West Lawn Cemetery is a large area with 11,440 headstones. We note as we travel, that there are many varieties of the WOW tree stump headstones, depending on the designs of the local stone workers. This tree stump is extremely clear and readable, even after 100 years.
William Peers tree stump headstone stands on four horizontal logs, engraved with a calla lily. The seal is very clear. His inscription is engraved on a shield and reads:
