EN The place called "La Roquette" is located not far from the south bank of the Durance, near the D973 road, which connects Pertuis to Cavaillon. It is accessed by taking a small road that separates, to the west of the Gorges de Régalon.
The modern style of this building is due to its recent construction, which took place in 1953 on the initiative of Father Maxime Vallier as indicated by a commemorative plaque (this one is on the building!) .
The Saint Teresa honored here is either Therese of Lisieux or the Child Jesus, French Carmelite of the nineteenth century. These two great nuns known for their stories of mystical experiences were declared doctors of the Church in 1970 and in 1997.
