The machines are part of the Museum but they are located outsite, so no entrance fee is nesseccary.

The Sign at the wall informs about the Presses which are standing here under a roof.
There is no fence around and there are none of the usual no touching signs.
So you can get in touch with this historical equipment.

Presses
The main purpose of these tools was to apply pressure to a work piece.

Drop Hammer
Drop hammers were used to coin money, medals and for similar applications. They where also used for flattening the eye region in needle production.

Scew Presses
They were used to press cakes of soap and to stamp out the hole in needle production.

Toggle Lever Press
These type of presses were preferably used to deep draw sheet metal.
