The bays for the firetruck have been filled in to make rooms and the old city hall/fire station is now the Municipal Courthouse.

Hearne Democrat

Built of native rock with just enough white trim to set off the beauty of the rock, the new building houses the city's administrative offices, the fire station, and a council chamber.

The fire station is on the north side of the building, where the city's modern fire-fighting equipment is kept.

The interior of the building is modern with florescent lighting.

The contractor for the work was Lawrence Brady of Hearne.
