My Aggie Nation

The Greek word Menos means “spirit.” The sculptor, Hans Van de Bovenkamp, says the abstract design is comprised of a ring and wave, to “embody stability and endlessness,” according to University Art Galleries. He said, “It stands to remind and inspire those who pass there of their personal pursuit... the quest for a higher knowledge and state of being — the spirit of learning.”
