The term tenoch-rustico is used on the restaurant's web site. I think that the word rustic describes the setting and the menu. The restaurant is located in a former hotel dating back to the 1850s. On a Saturday, the crowded space was busy, almost too busy. The menu does not include items such as fajitas. The featured items are the tortas which they do very well.
Tenoch also has restaurants in Medford and Somerville as well as a food truck.
