EN: The Arlesheim farmer's garden is located in a park, that was the cemetery of the community until 1967. In 1996, an area of around 800 square meters was converted into a traditional farmer's garden and planted with varieties that were widespread before 1850 but have become very rare today.
The garden is maintained by volunteers and supported by the organization ProSpecieRara and the Nature Conservation Commission of the municipality.
DE: Der Arlesheimer Bauerngarten befindet sich in einem Park, wo sich bis 1967 der Friedhof der Gemeinde befand. 1996 wurde ein rund 800 Quadratmeter grosser Bereich in einen traditionellen Bauerngarten umgewandelt und mit Sorten bepflanzt, die vor 1850 verbreitet waren, heute aber sehr selten geworden sind.
Der Garten wird von Freiwilligen unterhalten und von der Organisation ProSpecieRara und der Naturschutzkommission der Gemeinde unterstützt.
