In 1822, in the building of the former Reeve’s House , Ignác Šustala was born. 28 years later he constructed the first buggy, thus laying the foundation for today’s world famous automobile manufacturer Tatra. We can see several coaches from Šustala in the original barn next to the Reeve’s House, which today houses an exhibition dedicated to the history of Koprivnice. The upper floor, once the granary, now serves as a gallery.
Next to the Reeve’s House there is an old cemetery that surrounded the original wooden church of Koprivnice. Today mainly the neo-Gothic sandstone tomb of thefactory family Raška and the pseudo-Gothic chapel - the tomb of the factory family Raška are preserved. The oldest part of the city is around the old cemetery.

Budova muzea je nejstarší dochovanou budovou na území Koprivnice a je soucasne centrem bohaté historie mesta. První zmínky o nynejší, zdené podobe objektu pocházejí z roku 1789. Expozice je venována výrobe kocáru, brycek a saní, ale také zakladateli kocárové výroby Ignáci Šustalovi.
Muzeum Fojtství zobrazuje historii Koprivnice jako reku casu. Roku 1822 se zde narodil zakladatel puvodní kocárovky Ignác Šustala. Sestrojil zde dokonce své první brycky a fojtství tak stálo u zrodu dnešní automobilky Tatra. I dnes máte možnost videt pár kocáru ve stodole v areálu fojtství. Vratte se tedy k pramenum, jak továrny samotné, tak celé Koprivnice. Poznejte historii, životy a zvyky našich predku a odhalte tajemství archeologických pokladu. I tady slouží podkroví jako galerie k príležitostným výstavám.
Ve stodole Muzea Fojtství je vystaveno šest zachovaných výrobku koprivnické kocárovky, napr. ruské sane, pohrební vuz ci brycka Mylord. Celá muzejní expozice je usporádána jako reka casu, po které mužete plout a pátrat po zajímavých a duležitých událostech mesta Koprivnice.
