An information board at the south side of Wymondham Abbey. The arch used to be the grand entrance to the monks side of the abbey. It tells us some church history, and about some parts of the church that can be seen from here.
It points out the great west tower, started in 1446, but never finished. Several architectural features, such as the windows, and the enlarged south aisle (1538). It also points out features of the east monks' tower, built in 1380 replacing the old Norman tower.
