Wara li halla l-kunvent, Pisani beda l-karriera tieghu ta' ghalliem. F'dan iz-zmien ikkolabora ma' E.B. Vella fid-Dipartiment tal-Edukazzjoni biex jingabar materjal didattiku ghall-kotba tat-tghalim tal-Malti Gabra ta’ Ward li gew stampati fl-1930. Pisani nhatar l-ewwel surmast tal-Malti fil-Liceo t'Ghawdex fl-1935. Gorg Pisani sar Assistent Ufficjal tal-Informazzjoni ghal Ghawdex fl-1942, u hmistax-il sena wara lahaq Ufficjal ghar-Relazzjonijiet Pubblici. Fl-1957 sar l-ewwel Ufficjal ghall-Informazzjoni.

Fl-4 ta’ Novembru 1963 Pisani zzewweg lil Mary Rose Formosa u kellhom tifel wiehed. Pisani baqa’ fis-servizz mal-gvern sa Gunju 1972.

Gorg Pisani miet ta’ disghin sena wara hajja twila mimlija attività fil-hajja kulturali Ghawdxija.

Fl-1977 ha l-ewwel post fil-Malta Literary Award ghar-rumanz Beraq u Qawsalli u sitt snin wara t-tieni post bir-rumanz Zerniq fuq l-Gholjiet. Inghata l-premju Città di Valletta fl-1983 u f’gheluq it-tmenin sena tieghu l-Akkademja tal-Malti tatu gieh f'lejla muziko-letterarja.

Fl-2001, twaqqaf monument bl-istatwa ta' Gorg Pisani fi Triq Putirjal, ir-Rabat, Ghawdex. L-istatwa tal-bronz hija x-xoghol tal-iskultur Alfred Camilleri Cauchi."

"George Pisani (the Victoria , Gozo, 6 May 1909-24 February 1999) was a Maltese writer.

George Pisani remains best known for the importance it attaches to Gozo as a bright spot and filled with peace. While talking about many social and human problems, his best works are inspired by temples and ancient neighborhoods. Probably why Guze Chetcuti call him "the poet of history" because a significant number of poems he wrote to prehistoric theme like Hagar Qim , The Ggantija in Gozo and For Dalam . But he was also known as the youth poet, and wrote Prof.. Guze Aquilina in 1945 in the preface of the book Pisani, The Easter of Youth"Lift ... black instances of daunting or despair, the greatest ground of poetry Pisani remain young brave youth looking forward enthusiastic and quick in life race."

George Pisani was born in Victoria, from Paul, dealer Gozitan wine, and Theresa born Calleja, Malta, Gozo and she lived with her family. He lived his childhood in a large house in Racecourse Road, now known as Republic Street, you can tell is the main artery of the island. After leaving the convent, Pisani began his career as a teacher. George Pisani became Assistant Information Officer for Gozo in 1942, and fifteen years after reaching Public Relations Officer. In 1957 he became the first Information Officer.

On 4 November 1963 Pisani was married to Mary Rose Formosa and had one son. Pisani remained in service with the government until June 1972.

George Pisani was ninety years after a long life filled activity in Gozo cultural life.

Pisani has won a number of literary awards, including those launched by the Maltese Association ghal- Voice of the Maltese and prognostic Maltese in the first years of the thirties. In 1977 took the first place in Malta Literary Award for romance Lightning and rainbow six years after the second place with romance Dawning on the Highlands . Was awarded the prize Città di Valletta in 1983 and his birthday eighty years the Maltese Academy awarded him f'lejla muziko literary.

In 2001, set up a monument with the statue of George Pisani in Main Gate Street, Victoria, Gozo. The bronze statue is the work of sculptor Alfred Camilleri Cauchi."
