Clearview is a town of 48 population, north of Weleetka and south of Interstate 40. The town was founded in 1903 as one of the fifty all-black towns in Oklahoma. As the town decreased in size through the years, the post office which opened in 1902 was closed in 1995.

Currently, there are 24 locked post boxes, and four larger package boxes located where the post office used to be on Main Street. Today, there is only a set of concrete steps and a partial rock foundation wall. The residents of Clearview obtain their mail as a rural route of Weleetka.
