This church, not far from Jerehiam Vardeman's farm, was planted by him. There is another Salem Baptist church on MO-CC...they are different.

In southwestern Spencer Township, east of Center. Organized in 1832. A Bible name (John 3:23), a variant of Salim, where John was baptizing." ~ Salt River Association, page 76

"In 1830 Vardeman emigrated to Missouri and settled in Ralls County. Here he continued the work of an evangelist with unabated zeal. He is created with planting several churches in Missouri including Bethel, Mt. Pleasant, and Salem. In his home county, Vardeman was also a prominent figure in the early history of First Baptist Palmyra." ~ The Baptist History Preservation Society

I can find a ton of history of Jeremiah Vardeman who founded this church, but I cannot find the simple times of Sunday services here.
