Long Description:
At the roof of the house in the Hardtstraße 2 which is used as the primary school you will find this siren.
We assume it is used for fire alarms as the other identical sirens in the villages around as well.
But we could not find a website which describes this one.

"The foundation stone for today's building of the Kempenich in Hardtstraße was laid in 1908. Besides Kempenich, Hohenleimbach and Spessart also belong to the catchment area of the school.

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the building, the name of the school, carved in stone, was solemnly unveiled and blessed in May 2008. At the anniversary celebration a specially written school chronicle was offered, in which the history of the school is reflected in words and pictures on more than 150 pages. The names of almost 3000 students of all the teachers who ever worked there are recorded in this chronicle, most of them are also immortalized in one of the almost 250 photos."
