This Boat Ramp was built in the Second World War, for the repair and maintenance of boats required for the RAAF Flying Boat Base at Rathmines. The steel tracks for the trolleys to haul boats out of Lake Macquarie can still be seen. The concrete ramp is wide enough for two vehicles with trailers. There is plenty of shaded parking close by.
