"Ce domaine était un ancien fief qui relevait du château d’Amboise. Il a été la propriété de la famille Haren du XVIème au XIXème siècle.
Utiliser à des fins diverses, la fuie a complètement été dénaturée, puis complètement laissée à l’abandon pendant de nombreuses années.
Les propriétaires actuels ont restauré le domaine il y a une quinzaine d’années, pour s’attaquer par la suite à la fuie, sans aucune aide financière. En discutant avec eux j’ai bien senti que tous ces travaux n’ont pas été évidents. Aujourd’hui cette fuie originale a retrouvé tout son charme, et quand on voit le résultat, on ne peut que les féliciter.
On peut l’apercevoir depuis la grille d’entrée du domaine. Il s’agit d’une tour en tuffeau avec plusieurs côtés en colombages, coiffée d’un toit d’ardoise est munie d’une lucarne. Il n’y a qu’une douzaine de fuies polygonales en Touraine ; Celle-ci en fait partie..."
This domain was a former stronghold which belonged to the castle of Amboise. It was owned by the Haren family from the 16th to the 19th century.
Use for various purposes, the flee has been completely misrepresented, then completely abandoned for many years.
The current owners restored the estate about fifteen years ago to tackle the flee, without any financial help. In discussing with them I felt that all this work was not obvious. Today this original flee has regained all its charm, and when we see the result, we can only congratulate them.
It can be seen from the entrance gate of the domain. It is a tufa tower with several half-timbered sides, a slate roof and a skylight. There are only a dozen polygonal fuies in Touraine; This one is part of it .."
