"6 septembre 1944 : Les cinq chars du premier peloton s'engagent sur la route de Tailly, le char Duguay-Trouin est en tête, les chars des autres pelotons sont à distance, plus en arrière .

Le Duguay-Trouin est touché par deux obus d'une pièce antichar allemande située à 1200 mètres environ, à l'est de Meursault .

Les trois occupants de la tourelle seront tués : sous lieutenant Antoine Cattanéo, brigadier-chef Alexis Petitbon (tireur), René Delaporte (chargeur).

Le brigadier-chef André Vidal (pilote) et le copilote, Antoine Tortosa sont indemnes .

Les quatre autres chars du peloton bombardèrent la pièce ennemie dont les servants s'enfuirent.

Ce char est toujours exposé à Dijon,il nous rappelle l'héroïsme de ceux qui nous ont délivrés de l'occupation ennemie..."

September 6, 1944: The five tanks of the first platoon engage on the Tailly road, the Duguay-Trouin tank is in the lead, the tanks of the other platoons are at a distance, further back.

The Duguay-Trouin is hit by two shells of a German anti-tank at about 1200 meters, east of Meursault.

The three occupants of the turret will be killed: Lieutenant Antoine Cattanéo, Brigadier Chief Alexis Petitbon (shooter), Rene Delaporte (Charger).

Brigadier-in-Chief André Vidal (pilot) and co-pilot Antoine Tortosa are unscathed.

The other four tanks of the platoon bombarded the enemy's room whose servants fled.

This tank is always exposed to Dijon, it reminds us of the heroism of those who delivered us from the enemy occupation ... "
