[FR] Moulin situé à Batz-sur-Mer.
De type petit pied breton, ce moulin en granit rénové en 1992 est l'un des plus ancien de la presqu'île. Auparavant, ce moulin se trouvait sur le coteau de Guérande. Il fût démonté pierre par pierre pour être installé sur le lieu-dit "La Falaise" en 1924-1925.
À l'étage, un mécanisme entraîne la meule qui écrase le grain. Au rez-de-chaussée se trouve la bluterie qui fournit la farine.
On recensait huit moulins d'époque médiévale à Batz-Sur-Mer dont le Moulin de la Masse devenu propriété privée et celui du Prieuré, belvédère de plaisance.
[EN] Mill located in Batz-sur-Mer.
This granite mill was renovated in 1992. It is of the Breton "petit pied" (narrow base) style and it is the oldest mill on the Guérande peninsula (16th century).
It was installed on this dune known as the Falaise (cliff) in 1924-25 and here you can observe the age-old tradition of transforming grain into flour.
On the upper level the wind mechanism drives the millstone wich crushes the grain? Below, the sifting system produces the flour.
