Some of the present buildings date back to the original ones of the 1890's. [Platform #5 built in 1891, as a 'Standard Eddy'.] The road overbridge of The Strand was built in 1892. A lot of details on the buildings can be found the NSW Heritage report: (visit link)

In 2015 a lift system was installed to make it wheelchair accessible, and there had been further renovations, which had been finished in 2017.
