Cart Part Sculptures - Erie, Pennsylvania - Roadside Attractions on Waymarking.com

Several interesting car part sculptures are located on Hershey Road in Erie, Pennsylvania.

These sculptures were made by Dick Schaefer, a former auto dismantler and a real Junkyard Michelangelo, who's transforming rusty old cars into glorious monsters. There is a pull-off right in front of his yard where the displays is located, so people can get out and take pictures.

Among his creations, one can admire a giant spider made from a VW Beetle, a rocket ship, a helicopter, a man, a bumble bee (with a cement mixer body), a two-headed dinosaur and a few other interesting and colorful creations.
