The 1959 description in the NGS datasheet refers to the Post Office and Store at Farmer, which are now long gone, The last real marker left along Highway 2 is the Farmer Community Hall, about 10¾ miles west from the benchmark. The benchmark is set in the east end of the top of the stone culvert, at the given coordinates to the north of the highway. Find the culvert, which is quite easy, and you will find the benchmark.
