The ghost signs on the corrugated metal siding at the Spaeth Heritage House immediately caught my attention and I took a few photos. This store specializes in salvaging old house architectural parts for resale. I'm assuming they salvaged the ghost signs from other old commercial buildings and have used them for siding on their storefront.
One sign reads 'Dave's Feed & Seed' with illegible words underneath but ending with 'Hay' and Salt.' Two signs read 'Crown Flour' on the front and side of the building. The sign on the side of the building contains the words 'Unbleached' on either side of a faded logo/symbol. Underneath those words read 'Feed' and then 'Grinding - Cleaning - Mixing.'
Some neat signage that has been preserved here. I would bet it's a walk back in time viewing the reclaimed house parts as well.
