"Mercredi en fin d'après midi, une centaine de jeunes a fait irruption dans le multiplexe, ils ont envahi une salle où était projeté le film d'horreur Paranormal Activity 5. Ce jeudi, la direction a décidé de déprogrammer le film.
Les faits remontent à ce mercredi. Vers 16h, une centaine de jeune fait irruption au cinéma Mega Castillet de Perpignan, ils envahissent notamment une salle de cinéma où était projeté le film d'horreur Paranormal Activity 5. Sur place, des lunettes 3D sont saccagées, des employés sont insultés et un écran est même abîmé. Au final, il aura fallu pas moins d'une soixantaine de policiers pour ramener le calme.
Au lendemain de cet incident, la direction du cinéma a donc pris des mesures de sécurité supplémentaires. Depuis ce jeudi matin, un vigile est posté à l'entrée du cinéma et des policiers font régulièrement des rondes pour s'assurer que le calme persiste. Mais le cinéma a également pris une décision radicale en déprogrammant le film Paranormal Activity 5 jusqu'à nouvel ordre.
Stéphan Miché est secrétaire général du groupe Ciné Movida qui gère le cinéma Mega Castillet de Perpignan:
"C'est forcément un peu navrant de devoir renforcer la sécurité dans un lieu où normalement on est sensé être dans la bonne humeur. On estime malgré tout que c'est indispensable aujourd'hui pour rassurer tout le monde"
Malgré ces mesures de sécurité, le personnel reste très choqué. Kiliane est caissière dans ce cinéma:
"J'ai eu une petite boule au ventre ce matin en arrivant au travail et je l'aurai jusqu'à la fin de mon service ce soir je pense."
Les spectateurs qui ont payé leur billet mercredi, mais qui ont dû être évacués, peuvent retourner au cinéma pour demander à se faire rembourser. De son côté, la direction du cinéma a porté plainte."

The facts go back to this Wednesday. Around 4 pm, a hundred of young people burst into the cinema Mega Castillet of Perpignan, they invade including a cinema where was screened the horror film Paranormal Activity 5. On site, 3D glasses are ransacked, employees are insulted and a screen is even damaged. In the end, it took no less than sixty police to restore calm.
In the aftermath of this incident, the cinema management took additional security measures. Since Thursday morning, a vigil is posted at the entrance of the cinema and police regularly round to ensure that calm continues. But the cinema has also made a radical decision by deprogramming the movie Paranormal Activity 5 until further notice.
Stéphan Miché is general secretary of the Ciné Movida group which manages the cinema Mega Castillet of Perpignan:
"It's a bit heartbreaking to have to increase security in a place where normally we are supposed to be in a good mood, but we still think it's essential today to reassure everyone."
Despite these security measures, the staff remains very shocked. Kiliane is a cashier in this cinema:
"I had a tummy ball this morning when I got to work and I will have it until the end of my service tonight I think."
Spectators who paid for their tickets on Wednesday, but had to be evacuated, can return to the cinema to ask for a refund. For its part, the direction of the cinema complained. "
