This old cast steel church bell used to hang in the Callahan Evangelical Church which stood across 286th St from the cemetary. It is now on display in a small wooded gazebo in the Callahan Cemetery in rural Cass County at the intersection of Bluff Rd. and 286th St. There is a plaque that reads:
"This bell hung in Callahan Evangelical Church which stood across the road just west of the cemetery."
"First Church 1882-1883 burnded."
"Second Church 1883-1902."
"Third Church 1902-1954."
