On a ridge near the "Mühlenberg" near Trimbs there is an antique staircase with 11 steps cut into the rock.

According to an experienced archaeologist, this staircase is said to be 3000-3500 years old and of Celtic origin.
Members of an archaeological association, however, claim to be able to prove that the staircase is of Roman origin and dates from the 4th century. Remains of a Roman grain warehouse from this period are said to have been found in the immediate vicinity.

An exact age examination is not yet available and the age of the stairs remains unclear for the time being. A temporary sign informs about the stairs and the backgrounds.

The stairs are located directly on the "Nette-Schiefer-Pfad", a popular hiking trail.
