The plaque says, "Towering hoodoos line the Mossy Cave Trail as it gently climbs 200 feet (61 meters_ along Water Canyon. Historically a dry wash, it now flows for much of the year as part of the Tropic Ditch, a canal carrying water from the East Fork of the Sevier River to the aried valley below. The trail forks .35 miles (.56 km) ahead. A short path to the left leads to Mossed Cave, the path to the right leads to a waterfall."
