This is built of local sandstone, cemented together, with Gothic-styled arched windows with plain glass panels. The entrance is through a double wooden door, with a Gothic arch and dressed stone and keystone above it. The Gothic-pointed Dated Stone is in the triangular peak of the small porch.
While it is now on the local main road, when it was built the main road was on the ridge, above the older Methodist Church, up the hill from here. Prior to 1900 it was associated with the Bible Christian Church, which had built it. "Well constructed of sandstone rubble, with dressed stonework to strings, copings and surrounds to openings. Retains its slate roof cladding and fine, if simple, window joinery. An element composition of typical Parish Churches. Symmetrical gabled hall with similarly gabled porch of almost Classical proportion with Gothic derived detail to openings."
