On W. 3rd Street, in front of the Planetarium is another of the UTA "Spirit Horses".

The walking horse is painted in black and white with the stars and planets as decorations. Each year the freshmen paint these horses so the look of the horse will change each year.

Background Story:
The Spirit Horse project initially started as a public art project to allow the UTA community to come together to paint a fiberglass horse that would be placed around campus. The horses were painted during the MavsMeet AfterParty each year
